Mary McCormack was born on 8 February 1969, Plainfield, New Jersey, USA. She is the daughter of William Joseph McCormack and Norah Magdalene Ross McCormack. She has an older sister Bridget and a brother William. She has done graduation from Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut in 1991. She got married with "Brothers & Sisters" producer Michael Morris in July 2003. They have two daughters Margaret born on 3rd September 2004 and Rose born on May 15, 2007.
